You may already have a credit

If you donated or paid a fee for extra-curricular activities to any school since January 1st, you may already have saved up to $200 (individual), or $400 (married couples), on your state income taxes.

You do not need to be a parent

The tax credit is available to all Arizona taxpayers whether or not they have children in our public schools.

You help kids and it costs you nothing!

Extra-curricular activities such as sports, band, and academic clubs usually can not be funded completely by the school district. Usually a fee must be charged to students participating in these activities. Arizona tax law allows taxpayers a tax credit of up to $200 for an individual or $250 for married couples filing jointly if they contribute to activities in public schools when those activities are supported by fees. Donations must be received by 12/31/08 to be eligible for a credit on your 2007 return.

It's easy

To support any of the programs listed opposite, just write a check to the school, fill out the card on the back of this brochure, and send it in to Grand Canyon Unified School District #4.

We will provide you with a receipt verifying your donation to an eligible activity.

a contribution gets the money to the kids!

Contributions that are eligible for the tax credit are donated directly to the school.
