PHILOSOPHY OF GRAND CANYON SCHOOL DISTRICT #4The educational philosophy of Grand Canyon Unified School District #4 is to develop within each student the ability to think critically and creatively and then to act constructively. We especially wish to foster the relationship between the school and community, particularly considering the unique natural and cultural resources available to Grand Canyon. Our main responsibility is to educate and to strengthen each student's best qualities and to develop in each student those qualities which are lacking. It is the duty of staff members to involve themselves in those aspects of the educative process in which they can best assist the student, thereby building respect between staff and student. We wish to promote each student's ability to function well in a democratic and changing society and to cultivate the success of each individual.
